How can I use Xport and EMS saves with nPort?

Use Save Slicer to split the .xps or .psu save, beta 2 and above has a feature to automaticly call npo-x.exe with the correct arguments to make save conversion as fast and painless as possible

I added/removed a save and now my nPort Index file is invalid

Adding or removing nPort saves from your folder causes the Index file to out of date and may mean you are unable to transfer saves to the PS2.
Use this handy tool to generate a new Index file for you

Can I save and restore PSOne saves using nPort?

Unfortunately not, Mavy from PS2R tried to restore some PSOne saves but the PSX attribute was not set and therefore the saves were not valid.

PS2 Save Builder was released a few years before PSV files came about and doesn’t support them. PSV Exporter allows you to extract the contents of PSV files which you can then add by hand to PS2 Save Builder. If you’re having some trouble with the process get in touch via the ‘Contact Us‘ form and we’ll see what we can do to help.
