PS2 Save Builder update on the way?

Vector is looking to incorporate the Max Drive save format, .max, into his already exceptionally usefull PS2 Save Builder tool

Initial thoughts are that it may only import .max saves, of course incorporating support for the format is hampered by the fact of this format appears to be compressed or encrypted. This makes the saves less versatile than Xport v2 saves for us, the end user, because existing utilities for gamesaves like the GT3 Garage Editor and GamePhoenix are not compatable with this format.

No ETA on the arrival of the update but hopefully Vector will finish his work soon. Who knows, he may even release a document on the .max format allowing people to incorporate support for this format into their tools, here’s hoping eh.
